- Have regular Contact Lens Checks
- Only use contact lenses cleaners and drops that your optician / eye care professional has recommended.
- Follow the directions from lenses, the contact lens cleaners, the drops and from your optician / eye care professional.
- Clean your contact lenses case after every use. Let it dry before use. Change the contact lenses case every month.
- Look at your contact lenses before applying them. If they flare out instead of looking like a cup, they’re inside out.
- Don’t change contact lenses solutions or drops without checking it with your optician / eye care professional.
- Use makeup that is safe for contact lenses.
- Don’t use water to clean your contact lenses; even distilled water may contain traces of bacteria.
- Don’t spit on your lenses or put them in your mouth to clean them Don’t mix contact lenses cleaning solutions.
- Remove your contact lenses before swimming or entering a hot tub.
- If you suffer any form of eye irritation or discomfort, stop wearing the lenses and consult your optician / eye care professional
